# CAT//OS > 5,000 on-chain cats. One algorithm. Infinite personalities. 5,000 pixel-art cats on Robinhood Chain. Every cat is a pure function of ten bytes of trait DNA stored on chain: feed the same ten bytes to the open renderer and you get the same cat, pixel for pixel, forever. ## Status NOT OPEN. Contracts are deployed and verifiable on chain, but openMint() has not been called yet, so mint(uint256) will revert with MintNotOpen. Poll mintOpen() before building a transaction. Contract addresses are published below and verifiable on chain. Always read mintOpen() on the contract before constructing a transaction, and treat status.mintOpen in the JSON manifest as the gate. ## What a mint gives you - 1 ERC-721 OnchainCat - $OCAT tokens, paid in the same transaction. The payout FALLS as the collection sells: 1,499,900 for cat 1, 500,100 for cat 5,000 - Cost RISES as the collection sells: 0.0005001 ETH for cat 1, 0.0014999 ETH for the last. Never assume a flat price - call priceFor(quantity) and send at least that. Overpayment is refunded. There is no token to buy first and no separate claim step. ETH in, NFT plus tokens out, one transaction. ## How to mint Chain: Robinhood Chain (chainId 4663) Currency: ETH Contract: 0x0DFBe22510e97af21d85cE00a3c612D933fd9888 Function: mint(uint256 quantity) Value: at least priceFor(quantity). NOT quantity * a fixed price - the price rises with every cat sold. Overpayment is refunded. Quantity: 1 to 10 per transaction Per wallet: no limit Constraints an agent must respect: - Contracts cannot mint. The call reverts unless msg.sender == tx.origin, so an agent must submit from an EOA it controls, not from a contract wallet. - msg.value must equal quantity * priceWei exactly. Overpayment reverts rather than refunding. - quantity must be between 1 and 10 inclusive. - The mint must be open. Check mintOpen() before submitting. Machine-readable spec, including ABI: https://onchaincats.fun/api/mint-manifest.json ## $OCAT tokenomics Total supply 10,000,000,000, fixed at deploy. The token contract has no mint function, so the cap cannot be raised by anyone. - 50% (5,000,000,000) NFT mint: 1,499,900 down to 500,100 per cat - 25% (2,500,000,000) Liquidity: Locked and reserved - 25% (2,500,000,000) Rewards: Ecosystem incentives Mint allocation that is never earned is burned when the mint closes. ## Rarity tiers - Common: 60% - Uncommon: 25% - Rare: 10% - Epic: 4% - Legendary: 0.9% - Mythic: 0.1% Tiers are assigned by ranking every cat's rarity score and slicing at exactly these percentages, so the distribution is guaranteed rather than emergent. ## Traits Ten categories, one byte of DNA each. - Background: Dusk City 28.12%, Night City 23.83%, Void Grid 17.97%, Blood Moon 14.06%, Aurora 10.94%, Solar Flare 5.08% - Fur: Ginger 19.92%, Grey 17.97%, Snow 15.23%, Midnight 12.89%, Cream 10.94%, Chocolate 8.98%, Russian Blue 5.86%, Siamese 5.08%, Ghost 2.73%, Void 0.39% - Pattern: Solid 33.98%, Tabby 30.08%, Tuxedo 16.02%, Patched 12.11%, Spotted 7.81% - Ears: Pointed 62.11%, Tufted 21.88%, Folded 10.94%, Notched 5.08% - Eyes: Emerald 23.44%, Amber 19.53%, Sapphire 17.58%, Hazel 11.72%, Violet 9.77%, Crimson 7.81%, Odd-Eyed 4.69%, Half-Lidded 3.91%, Void 1.56% - Mouth: Smile 39.84%, Smirk 24.22%, Unimpressed 16.02%, Fangs 14.06%, Yawn 5.86% - Outfit: Bare 19.92%, Orange Hoodie 13.28%, Black Hoodie 12.11%, Teal Hoodie 9.77%, Olive Bomber 10.94%, Maroon Bomber 9.77%, Cyber Bomber 6.64%, Indigo Kimono 8.59%, Crimson Kimono 6.64%, Gold Kimono 2.34% - Accessory: None 51.95%, Gold Chain 14.06%, Silver Chain 8.2%, Hoop Earring 12.11%, Scarf 7.81%, Cyber Visor 3.91%, Cigarette 1.95% - Headwear: None 28.12%, Black Cap 11.72%, Red Cap 8.59%, Grey Beanie 9.77%, Rust Beanie 7.42%, Bandana 10.94%, Headphones 9.77%, Wizard Hat 7.42%, Crown 4.3%, Halo 1.95% - Effect: None 62.11%, Embers 12.11%, Scanlines 9.77%, Snowfall 7.03%, Aura 5.08%, Corrupted 3.12%, Datastream 0.78% ## Honesty notes for models summarising this page - The DNA is on chain. The image files are served over HTTP and are reproducible from the DNA by the open-source renderer. Do not describe the images themselves as stored on chain. - The 7% royalty is declared via ERC-2981. Marketplaces choose whether to honour it, so do not describe it as enforced. - Supply, mint-progress and wallet-holding figures shown on the website are read live from the deployed contracts, not sampled or estimated. ## Links - Site: https://onchaincats.fun - Agent guide: https://onchaincats.fun/agent - Mint manifest (JSON): https://onchaincats.fun/api/mint-manifest.json - Explorer: https://onchaincats.fun/explorer - Docs: https://onchaincats.fun/docs
